Principal AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry confronts a critical obstacle: creating educational materials that engage learners while addressing individual student requirements. A flood of one-size-fits-all, low-impact learning platforms saturates the market, making differentiation increasingly difficult. Evidence shows that educational content failing to resonate with students or adjust to diverse learning preferences leads to sharp declines in engagement, leaving a void in meaningful learning outcomes. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction amid limited time and resources.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging AI to transform content development. Our mission extends beyond creating AI tools—we engineer AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-centered educational resources. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge engine that generates compelling, adaptive materials at scale. This breakthrough strategy distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace and expands the horizons for AI applications in education, enhancing accessibility, efficacy, and student satisfaction.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering work. You won't simply write code or experiment with theoretical AI frameworks. You'll spearhead efforts to reimagine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for forward-thinking innovators ready to apply advanced technology for tangible, real-world outcomes.

Joining our team, you'll architect AI-driven educational platforms with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll deploy LLMs as subject-matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that is substantive and influential. If the prospect of using AI to revolutionize education energizes you and you're prepared to own projects that challenge existing limits, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI tools, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain experts and end users.
  • Creating Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject authorities to build and sustain documentation that captures knowledge and distinctive organizational perspectives.
  • Engineering data structures that deliver contextual scaffolding for business logic, guaranteeing data models that are efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to stand apart in the marketplace by producing engaging, personalized educational materials through AI-driven systems

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into software products (basic chatbot development or simple coding assistant usage does not qualify)
  • Verifiable passion for EdTech
