Staff AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

One of the EdTech industry's most pressing challenges is creating educational content that engages learners while addressing their individual needs. The market is saturated with generic, one-size-fits-all learning tools that fail to deliver meaningful results. Evidence shows that when educational resources don't resonate with students or accommodate their distinct learning preferences, engagement levels decline sharply, leaving a void in effective educational delivery. This burden falls heavily on educators, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction under significant time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI is addressing this challenge directly by leveraging artificial intelligence to transform content development. Our focus extends beyond creating AI tools—we are building AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, individualized learning resources. Imagine an intelligent "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge repository that generates compelling, adaptive content on demand. This forward-thinking strategy distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace and expands the potential of AI applications in education, making learning more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from typical AI engineering roles. You won't be confined to writing code or developing theoretical AI models. Instead, you'll spearhead efforts to transform student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create tangible, real-world impact.

As an integral part of our team, you'll architect AI-enabled educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll deploy LLMs as subject matter experts to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent learning assistants, ensuring our AI produces content that is both relevant and transformative. If the prospect of using AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you're prepared to take full ownership of projects that redefine what's achievable, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI tools, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from subject matter experts and end users.
  • Developing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject-area experts to create and sustain documentation that captures domain knowledge and organizational intelligence.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual support for business operations, ensuring data models are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in the market by producing engaging, personalized educational content through AI-driven tools

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven professional experience integrating LLMs into software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in the EdTech sector
