We're seeking Technical Team Leads to oversee quality and delivery for our application-level products. You will guide a compact team of 3-5 engineers who develop educational applications serving thousands of students.
Potential products include:
This role balances individual contribution with leadership: you'll spend 50% building sophisticated features hands-on and 50% mentoring and empowering your team. You define quality expectations, create coding patterns, provide instructive code reviews, and support engineer development. Your accountability extends to team results, not solely your individual contributions.
Compact team structure, substantial ownership, minimal bureaucracy. Your focus is technical leadership; people management is handled separately.
