You thrive in the challenging middle ground: ambiguous requirements, inconsistent APIs, structured content, authentication workflows, migration tooling, and the point where a customer's process finally runs from start to finish. Quark enables enterprise teams to orchestrate complex content workflows. In this position, you will convert customer requirements into dependable implementations on the Quark platform: system configurations, REST API connections, webhook integrations, SSO/SAML authentication, XML/XSLT transformations, data migrations, and workflow automation. The work is technical, customer-focused, and driven by outcomes. A polished demo is insufficient. The solution must function under real-world conditions, pass validation against acceptance criteria, and be documented clearly enough for others to maintain.
AI plays a role in how the work is executed. You will leverage tools like Claude Code or Cursor to accelerate delivery, and you will design practical AI agents, Skill files, or comparable automation assets that eliminate repetitive tasks. Over time, your contribution evolves from executing individual implementations to establishing reusable delivery frameworks that accelerate and improve future customer deployments.

What you will be doing
- Convert customer requirements into technical delivery plans, acceptance criteria, and scoped implementation tasks
- Set up Quark workflows, structured content schemas, business rules, integrations, and external data source connections
- Develop and validate REST API, webhook, SSO/SAML, XML/XSLT, migration, and script-based automation deliverables
- Troubleshoot implementation issues by reviewing logs, payloads, authentication sequences, transforms, and configuration interdependencies
- Produce clear runbooks, handover documentation, and walkthroughs that enable customers to operate the delivered solution
What you will NOT be doing
- Developing unrelated core product features with no direct customer implementation objective
- Executing tasks from unclear tickets without defining requirements, constraints, and acceptance criteria
- Implementing temporary fixes without conducting root-cause analysis, validation, and creating reusable documentation
- Delivering generic training materials that leave customers reliant on undocumented internal knowledge
- Delaying weeks to refine a solution before demonstrating tested, functional progress
Key responsibilities
Deliver dependable Quark customer implementations that integrate systems, content workflows, and end users to produce measurable customer value.
Candidate requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering, systems integration, implementation, or technical consulting experience
- Experience building or troubleshooting REST API and webhook integrations
- Working knowledge of authentication concepts such as SSO or SAML
- Practical proficiency with XML and XSLT or an equivalent structured-data transformation technology
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language used for migration, automation, or workflow implementation
- Regular practical use of AI developer tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Experience building at least one useful AI agent, Skill file, agent definition, or equivalent automation artifact
- Fluent in written and spoken English for customer discovery, requirements clarification, and technical handover
- Availability for at least 4 hours per day overlapping with business hours for US customers and 4 hours for Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience with content management, publishing platforms, or structured content workflows
- Experience creating customer-facing technical documentation, runbooks, or implementation handover materials
- Experience converting ambiguous customer requirements into end-to-end integrations, migrations, or workflow automations
