Description

Your ability to establish trust with a parent within moments of first contact will determine your success in this role. This position suits someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a new learning model clearly without depending on scripts. If you shy away from phone-based work or prefer positions lacking measurable outcomes, this opportunity will not align with your strengths.

Novatio School operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter that delivers education through a distinct model. Students complete core academics during a concentrated time block using AI-supported learning, then dedicate the remainder of their day to real-world skill development through projects and enrichment activities. Your function is to serve as the first substantive connection for families considering this educational option.

On a weekly basis, you will respond promptly to incoming inquiries, shepherd families through the admissions pathway, and advance them from curiosity to confirmed enrollment. You will also act as a representative for Novatio School at community events to cultivate new leads and raise local awareness. During periods of lower enrollment activity, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next admissions cycle.

If you seek a position where your communication discipline, follow-through, and personal accountability directly influence student enrollment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.

What you will be doing

  • Reaching out to new inbound leads within a 24-hour window and beginning admissions discussions by phone
  • Describing Novatio School's virtual model and enrollment procedures using clear, accessible language
  • Maintaining systematic follow-up to guide families from initial inquiry through application and into enrollment
  • Recording all engagement in a CRM with precise notes, next actions, and pipeline status updates
  • Planning and facilitating local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and capture prospective leads

What you will NOT be doing

  • Allowing inbound leads to remain unaddressed while completing administrative tasks
  • Relying on scripted language or functioning like a high-volume call center agent
  • Participating in events passively without actively delivering presentations or cultivating leads
  • Devoting most of your time to back-office responsibilities during periods of active enrollment demand

Key responsibilities

Transform incoming family interest into qualified, well-informed applicants who successfully complete enrollment into Novatio School.

Candidate requirements

  • Located in Texas or Arizona and available to work in a hybrid capacity
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or another role involving direct customer interaction
  • Background working with children or families (such as schools, camps, childcare, tutoring, or comparable settings)
  • At ease making regular phone calls and leading families through processes with multiple steps
  • Solid verbal communication abilities with the capacity to establish trust rapidly
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems or digital tools for lead tracking

Nice to have

  • Background in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, or lead qualification functions
  • Experience organizing or presenting at community events or outreach initiatives
  • Academic coursework or professional background in communications, education, or a related discipline
