AI-Driven Social Studies Learning Strategist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You've built curricula, analyzed student data, and know Social Studies inside out across grade levels. Now imagine doing all of that with AI systems you design yourself — LLM workflows that generate content, analyze performance patterns, and adapt learning pathways in real time. At 2 Hour Learning, we’re not just reshaping education—we’re charting a new course for how students explore the world around them.

We're looking for an educator who builds AI systems that reshape how students learn history and geography — not with buzzwords, but with LLM workflows, learning data, and content that actually works. Think you can accelerate learning and make ancient civilizations or global landscapes as exciting as the next big adventure? This is your opportunity to transform social studies education, fostering deeper connections to our shared past and present.

If you're a Social Studies expert ready to build the AI-driven future of education, apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Harnessing AI to design interactive simulations that make historical events and geographical phenomena tangible and memorable for students.
  • Analyzing learning data to uncover patterns that will inform adaptive pathways, ensuring every student’s unique journey is engaging and effective.
  • Developing cutting-edge digital resources that bring historical figures and global landscapes to life, from virtual journeys through time to immersive cultural explorations.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and technologists to craft innovative approaches that redefine how social studies is taught and experienced.
  • Translating complex historical and geographic concepts into engaging, digestible content enhanced with AI-driven personalization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing traditional curricula or bogging down in administrative duties—this role is about innovation and real-world impact.
  • Guessing what works — every content and strategy decision you make will be grounded in student performance data and AI-generated insights.
  • Spending months on curriculum rewrites that may never ship — you'll use AI to generate, test, and iterate on content in days, not semesters.

Key responsibilities

Accelerate student mastery of social studies across K-12 grade levels through AI-driven analysis, content development, and learning strategy optimization.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and inform content or strategy changes.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex Social Studies concepts for K-12 learners, with examples of measurable impact on student outcomes.
