Learning Designer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Imagine this scenario: Children complete an entire day of academics in two focused hours, then spend their afternoons launching podcasts, creating murals, or mastering back-handsprings. This is the 2-Hour Learning system that drives Alpha Anywhere—and you will be the strategist maintaining its momentum while shaping its evolution.

Operating from any location with reliable Wi-Fi, you will convert massive volumes of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, immediate interventions that propel each learner toward 90% mastery and higher. When students encounter obstacles, you will conduct live coaching sessions, eliminate barriers in the moment, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you will analyze comprehensive student performance datasets, identifying hidden trends that reveal children's full capabilities and engineering next-generation AI tools that may double learning velocity.

Parents observe dramatic gains in self-confidence, students accelerate their learning speed twofold, and you witness the tangible results of every insight you generate, every AI process you optimize, and every inquiry you pursue. Prepared to convert data into acceleration for young learners? Continue reading.

What you will be doing

  • Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic evaluations to identify issues, detect irregularities, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
  • Delivering rapid-response intervention calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching to eliminate blockers, distinguish knowledge deficits from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
  • Assessing and integrating new educational applications and materials while engineering AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address specific obstacles
  • Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor continues to develop

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending countless meetings or delivering generic presentations without clear connections to measurable results
  • Scoring assignments, developing lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
  • Remaining at the strategic level without execution or becoming confined to repetitive tasks—this position demands hands-on engagement and adaptability

Key responsibilities

Elevate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators including 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in data science or comparable position, education, EdTech, or a student-support capacity incorporating both analytical and interpersonal elements
  • Competency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities and an approach suited to coaching children
  • Background creating workflows and automations using AI
  • Minimum 1 year experience working directly with K-8 students
  • Availability during mandatory core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or verified achievement enhancing outcomes through data-informed approaches
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding capabilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for accessing AI APIs
