Imagine a school where students complete a full day's coursework in two highly concentrated hours, then spend their afternoons launching podcasts, painting murals, or perfecting their gymnastics. This is the 2-Hour Learning model that drives Alpha Anywhere—and as our Learning Designer, you'll maintain its precision while engineering its next evolution.

From any location with reliable internet access, you'll convert massive volumes of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, actionable interventions that propel each learner toward 90% mastery and beyond. When learners encounter obstacles, you'll facilitate live coaching sessions, eliminate the barrier in the moment, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you'll analyze deep streams of student achievement data, identifying latent patterns that unleash children's capabilities and architecting next-generation AI tools that may double learning velocity.

What you will be doing

  • Constructing precise Academic Data Reports and performing methodical analysis to identify issues, detect outliers, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
  • Facilitating urgent intervention calls and delivering post-assessment coaching to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
  • Assessing and deploying new educational applications and materials while prototyping AI/LLM solutions to advance learning methods and address specific problems
  • Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances

What you will NOT be doing

  • Participating in prolonged meetings or delivering generic presentations with no visibility into actual results
  • Grading assignments, creating lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
  • Working exclusively in high-level planning without execution or becoming mired in repetitive tasks—this position demands hands-on involvement and agility

Key responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics including 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning patterns across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in data science or related field, education, EdTech, or a student-support capacity combining analytical and interpersonal dimensions
  • Competency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities and a child-friendly coaching approach
  • Track record building workflows and automations with AI

Nice to have

  • Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or verified success enhancing outcomes through data-informed strategies
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding capabilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs
