From any location with reliable internet, you will convert massive volumes of AI-generated student performance metrics into precise, actionable interventions that guide each learner toward 90% mastery and beyond. When learners encounter obstacles, you will initiate live coaching sessions, eliminate barriers in the moment, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you will analyze rich student performance datasets, identifying hidden trends that reveal children's full capabilities and creating next-generation AI tools that have the potential to double learning velocity.

What you will be doing

  • Creating precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic evaluations to identify issues, detect irregularities, and implement solutions within 48 hours
  • Conducting urgent "rescue" sessions and delivering post-assessment coaching to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from simple mistakes, and maintain student engagement
  • Assessing and integrating new educational applications and resources while developing AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address specific obstacles
  • Collaborating with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending endless meetings or producing generic presentations with no visibility into actual results
  • Grading assignments, creating lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
  • Working in high-level strategy without execution or becoming trapped in repetitive tasks—this position is hands-on and fluid

Key responsibilities

Advance student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics including 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning patterns throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in data science or comparable position, education, EdTech, or a student-support capacity combining analytical and interpersonal elements
  • Expertise in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication capabilities and a student-friendly coaching approach
  • Background developing workflows and automations using AI
  • Minimum 1 year experience working directly with K-8 students
  • Availability to work during mandatory core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or verified success enhancing outcomes through data-informed approaches
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding abilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for accessing AI APIs
