Learning Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Picture this: Kids knock out a full day’s academics in just two laser-focused hours, then launch podcasts, paint murals, or perfect their back-handsprings all afternoon. That’s the 2-Hour Learning engine that powers Alpha Anywhere—and you’re the strategist who keeps it humming while revolutionizing it for the future.

Working from any Wi-Fi-friendly corner of the planet, you’ll transform tidal waves of AI-generated performance data into exact, timely interventions that push every learner toward 90% mastery and beyond. When a student hits a snag, you’ll jump on a live coaching call, dissolve the blocker in real time, and send them back into their flow with fresh confidence. Simultaneously, you’ll dive deep into rich streams of student performance data, uncovering hidden patterns that unlock children’s full potential, designing next-generation AI solutions that could double learning speed.

Parents witness soaring self-belief, students double their learning speed, and you see the direct impact of every insight you craft, every AI workflow you automate, and every question you ask. Ready to turn data into rocket fuel for young minds? Keep reading.

What you will be doing

  • Producing laser-accurate Academic Data Reports and conducting systematic analysis to surface issues, flag anomalies, and trigger fixes within 48 hours
  • Hosting rapid-response "rescue" calls and running post-assessment coaching sessions to resolve blockers, separate knowledge gaps from errors, and keep kids motivated
  • Evaluating and implementing new educational apps and content while designing AI/LLM prototypes to innovate learning strategies and solve specific challenges
  • Syncing with leadership to refine tools, dashboards, and mastery thresholds as the AI tutor evolves

What you will NOT be doing

  • Sitting through endless meetings or handing off generic slide decks with no line of sight to real outcomes
  • Grading papers, writing lesson plans, or managing traditional educational programs—the AI and innovation drive our work
  • Operating in high-level strategy without implementation or getting stuck in routine tasks—this role is hands-on and dynamic

Key responsibilities

Drive improved student learning outcomes through AI-driven analysis and real-time academic insights, demonstrated by enhanced metrics like 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and reduced negative learning patterns across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 1 year in a role involving coaching, training, or instruction
  • At least 1 year directly and repeatedly supporting K-8 students through recurring one-to-one or small-group academic coaching focused on learning habits, motivation, self-direction, test behavior, or executive-function routines; whole-class teaching alone is not sufficient
  • At least 1 year in a role that combined hands-on data analysis with direct student or learner support
  • At least 1 year using Google Sheets or Excel for data analysis, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, charts, or similar functions
  • At least 6 months using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot in professional workflows to produce real work outcomes, not only casual search or writing polish
  • Available to work 4 core hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM U.S. time

Nice to have

  • Background in learning science, educational principles, or demonstrated success improving outcomes through data-driven strategies
  • Experience with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs
