Learning Strategist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You have designed learning experiences, interpreted student performance metrics, and mastered Social Studies content across multiple grade bands. Now consider applying those skills to engineer AI systems—LLM pipelines that produce educational materials, identify learning trends, and personalize instruction dynamically. At 2 Hour Learning, we are redefining education by building a new model for how students engage with the world's cultures, events, and places.

We seek an educator who constructs AI-powered systems to transform history and geography instruction—not through empty promises, but via LLM architectures, performance analytics, and proven content design. Can you drive measurable learning gains while making ancient empires or global ecosystems feel as compelling as a modern exploration? This role offers the chance to reinvent social studies pedagogy and deepen students' understanding of humanity's shared story.

If you are a Social Studies specialist prepared to architect the AI-enabled future of learning, submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI to create interactive experiences that render historical moments and geographic concepts concrete and lasting for learners.
  • Examining performance data to identify trends that shape adaptive learning sequences, making each student's path both personalized and impactful.
  • Building advanced digital tools that animate historical narratives and world environments, from time-travel experiences to deep cultural immersions.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams of educators and engineers to develop novel methods that transform social studies instruction and engagement.
  • Converting intricate historical and spatial ideas into accessible, compelling materials powered by AI-driven customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curriculum frameworks or getting caught in bureaucratic tasks—this position focuses on innovation and measurable outcomes.
  • Operating on intuition alone — each content and pedagogical choice you implement will be anchored in learner data and AI-derived analysis.
  • Investing months in curriculum overhauls that rarely launch — you will leverage AI to produce, validate, and refine materials in days instead of academic terms.

Key responsibilities

Drive accelerated mastery of social studies content for K-12 students through AI-powered data analysis, instructional material creation, and learning pathway optimization.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and inform content or strategy changes.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex Social Studies concepts for K-12 learners, with examples of measurable impact on student outcomes.
