Description

Imagine transforming how students engage with the narratives of history and the interconnections between cultures and geography—turning these subjects into catalysts for curiosity and comprehension. 2 Hour Learning is redefining education by pioneering new approaches to how learners discover and understand the world.

We seek a skilled professional to reimagine how foundational history and geography concepts are delivered using advanced AI technology. If you can accelerate comprehension and make ancient civilizations or global terrain as compelling as any modern discovery, this role offers the chance to reshape social studies education and deepen students' connections to our collective past and present.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI tools to build interactive simulations that render historical events and geographical concepts tangible and unforgettable for learners.
  • Examining learning analytics to identify trends that shape adaptive pathways, guaranteeing each student's individual experience remains compelling and productive.
  • Creating advanced digital materials that animate historical personalities and global environments, including virtual time-travel experiences and immersive cultural encounters.
  • Partnering with a cross-functional team of educators and technology specialists to develop innovative methodologies that redefine social studies instruction and student experience.
  • Converting intricate historical and geographic ideas into accessible, engaging content enriched by AI-powered personalization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curricula or becoming entangled in administrative tasks—this position centers on innovation and tangible outcomes.
  • Working in isolation—you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals focused on advancing educational frontiers.
  • Relying on traditional textbook approaches—your contributions will transform how learners engage with history and geography.

Key responsibilities

Achieve quantifiable gains in students' command of social studies material, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential historical and geographic knowledge through pioneering, AI-enabled strategies.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.
  • Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.
