Educational Specialist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You've designed curricula, evaluated learning data, and mastered Social Studies pedagogy across multiple grade levels. Now picture applying those skills to AI systems you create — language model pipelines that produce educational content, detect performance trends, and modify learning sequences dynamically. At 2 Hour Learning, we're doing more than reimagining education — we're defining a fresh approach to how students engage with the world they inhabit.

We seek an educator who constructs AI-driven systems that transform how students experience history and geography — not through empty promises, but via language model workflows, performance analytics, and materials that deliver results. Believe you can accelerate mastery and make ancient empires or world regions as compelling as their next great discovery? This is your chance to reinvent social studies instruction, building stronger ties to our collective history and current reality.

If you're a Social Studies professional prepared to architect the AI-powered future of learning, submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI to create interactive experiences that render historical moments and geographic concepts concrete and unforgettable for learners.
  • Examining performance data to identify trends that shape adaptive learning routes, guaranteeing each student's individual path remains both engaging and impactful.
  • Building innovative digital tools that animate historical personalities and world environments, from virtual excursions across eras to immersive explorations of diverse cultures.
  • Partnering with a cross-functional team of educators and engineers to develop groundbreaking methods that transform social studies teaching and learning experiences.
  • Converting intricate historical and geographic ideas into captivating, accessible materials augmented by AI-powered customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curricula or getting mired in procedural tasks — this position focuses on innovation and measurable outcomes.
  • Operating on assumptions — each content choice and strategic direction you take will be anchored in learner performance metrics and AI-derived intelligence.
  • Investing months in curriculum overhauls that might never launch — you'll leverage AI to produce, validate, and refine materials in days rather than academic terms.

Key responsibilities

Accelerate student mastery of social studies across K-12 grade levels through AI-driven analysis, content development, and learning strategy optimization.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and inform content or strategy changes.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex Social Studies concepts for K-12 learners, with examples of measurable impact on student outcomes.
