Learning Facilitator   $150,000 USD/year

What if intentional play could drive quantifiable progress in early development?

Alpha's PreK program departs from conventional schooling. We integrate play-driven curriculum frameworks with live developmental tracking — no prescriptive lesson plans, no procedural checklists. You will architect flexible learning themes that span all developmental domains, mentor a team of Guides in executing them with both rigor and enthusiasm, and monitor concrete milestone advancement for each child enrolled.

This position requires direct classroom engagement. Approximately one-third of your time will be spent in learning spaces — demonstrating facilitation methods, observing practice, and conducting alignment reviews. The remaining time is dedicated to curriculum architecture, coaching Guides toward quantifiable performance targets, and delivering data-informed family communications. You will witness tangible outcomes: four-year-olds reaching developmental benchmarks ahead of schedule, Guides elevating their quality metrics weekly, and families becoming vocal supporters.

Mentor the Guides. Architect the play. Submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct individual and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating techniques and recognizing quantifiable achievements
  • Architect and lead play-driven learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, exemplifying best practice for the team
  • Assess and calibrate Guide documentation on a weekly basis for rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating alignment sessions to maintain milestone visibility
  • Draft family communications and facilitate team briefings that synchronize objectives and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK readiness targets

What you will NOT be doing

  • Adhering to fixed lesson templates or procedure-focused routines — you will develop responsive, play-centered themes informed by live data
  • Executing a predetermined curriculum dictated by leadership — you control quarterly and weekly learning architecture
  • Operating independently without feedback mechanisms — coaching dialogues and calibration reviews are embedded in your weekly schedule
  • Supervising K-12 learners in app-driven programs — this position is entirely devoted to early childhood, direct, in-person engagement

Key responsibilities

Advance campus-wide PreK readiness metrics through Guide mentorship, program integrity, and engaging, evidence-informed classrooms.

  • Demonstrated capability to design and execute play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestones e.g. Montessori
  • Minimum 1 year of experience coaching or supervising a team of educators with accountability for performance outcomes
  • Track record of creating written family progress communications and facilitating team alignment sessions in educational environments
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work onsite at Alpha Austin campus with relocation assistance provided if necessary
