School Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If disorder prompts you to immediately design a system, this environment will suit you well. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek challenge, and expect meaningful responsibility. We combine demanding academics with practical life competencies and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so learners progress with speed and confidence. We require someone who can transform a complex school day into a seamless, high-performing operation—every transition, every coordination point, every element executed correctly.

At our Austin location, you will be the mechanism that sustains momentum: protecting time for concentrated learning, maintaining secure and orderly operations, and removing barriers so Guides can mentor without distraction. You will manage facility workflows, frontline technology support, and stakeholder communications, building an environment where ambition is standard and autonomy is cultivated. If you value clear expectations, rapid decision-making, and measurable results, this role will align with your strengths.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate learning, families observe tangible impact, and operational rigor is the foundation of everything else.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the daily timetable with accuracy so the 2-Hour Learning sessions begin punctually, remain undisturbed, and conclude effectively.
  • Providing first-tier technical assistance (device configuration, initial diagnostics) and managing handoffs to IT support.
  • Sustaining a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor coordination, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating with clarity to students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues promptly and recording outcomes.
  • Facilitating campus initiatives—events, new-staff orientation, inventory and space planning—so the location consistently operates at readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering instruction or designing coursework; Guides own student mentorship while you manage operational infrastructure.
  • Working remotely from an administrative office; your role is visible and directly influences student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in low-value tasks that do not enhance efficiency, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that the campus environment remains secure, prepared, and conducive so that learners and staff can concentrate on education and development, not operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or another service-intensive setting.
  • Composed under pressure; proactive troubleshooter capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Precise, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (no visa sponsorship available).
