Site Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you instinctively create structure when you see disorder, this role will resonate with you. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek meaningful challenges, and thrive with real accountability. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and our focused 2-Hour Learning framework to help students advance with speed and confidence. We're looking for someone who can transform a dynamic school environment into a reliable, high-functioning operation—every transition, every interaction, every element precisely managed.

At our Austin location, you'll serve as the operational backbone that sustains momentum: protecting uninterrupted learning time, maintaining secure and well-ordered operations, and removing friction so Guides can deliver mentorship at their best. You'll manage facility workflows, frontline technology support, and family communication, building an environment where excellence is standard and self-reliance is cultivated. If you value clear expectations, decisive action, and measurable impact, this role is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students advance faster, families recognize the quality, and operational discipline quietly powers everything.

What you will be doing

  • Executing the daily schedule with exactness so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin punctually, remain distraction-free, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing frontline technology needs (equipment configuration, initial diagnostics) and routing advanced issues to IT.
  • Ensuring a secure, well-organized campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor coordination, and facility preparation.
  • Communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues; resolving matters quickly and recording key decisions.
  • Facilitating campus events—onboarding, programming, inventory and space oversight—so the site consistently feels ready.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing coursework; Guides handle student mentorship while you manage operational systems.
  • Working remotely or behind the scenes; your role is visible, campus-facing, and directly linked to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Investing time in low-value tasks that don't enhance speed, security, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, prepared, and conducive to focus, enabling students and staff to prioritize learning and development over operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable service-intensive setting.
  • Composed under pressure; proactive at solving problems while balancing multiple demands without sacrificing precision.
  • Proficient in basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace management.
  • Clear, professional written and spoken communication that builds credibility.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (no visa sponsorship available).
