Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Austin campus.

If you spot disorder and immediately map a solution, this role will suit you well. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek intellectual challenge, and are ready for genuine responsibility. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework that enables students to advance with speed and confidence. We are looking for an operator who can transform a dynamic school day into an efficient, high-performing system—every transition, every handoff, every element executed correctly.

At our Austin location, you will be the engine that powers seamless operations: protecting time for concentrated learning, managing safe and orderly logistics, and removing barriers so Guides can mentor at their highest level. You will oversee facility workflows, frontline technology support, and community communications, building an environment where ambition is expected and independence is cultivated. If you value clear standards, decisive action, and measurable impact, this role is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students progress faster, families experience the difference, and operational precision is the quiet foundation of everything we do.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the daily schedule with exactness so 2-Hour Learning blocks begin promptly, remain undisturbed, and conclude effectively.
  • Providing first-tier technology support (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and managing handoffs to IT when needed.
  • Upholding a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating with clarity to students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues quickly and recording outcomes.
  • Enabling campus events—orientation, programs, inventory and space coordination—so the site consistently feels organized and ready.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or designing curriculum; Guides handle student mentorship while you manage operational systems.
  • Working in isolation; your role is front-facing and directly influences student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in low-value tasks that do not enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee the campus environment remains secure, prepared, and conducive so that students and staff can concentrate on learning and development, not operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, event coordination, hospitality, or another service-intensive setting.
  • Composed under pressure; forward-thinking problem-solver capable of balancing competing demands without sacrificing precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace management.
  • Precise, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
