Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you see disorder and immediately build the system to fix it, this role will suit you. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek rigor, and thrive on real ownership. We combine demanding academics with practical life training and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework that enables rapid, confident progress. We're looking for an operator who can transform a complex school day into a reliable, high-functioning system—every transition, every handoff, every element executed correctly.

At our Austin location, you'll be the operator who ensures everything runs smoothly: protecting time for deep learning, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and removing barriers so Guides can focus entirely on mentorship. You'll manage facility logistics, frontline technology support, and family communication, building an environment where high standards are the norm and self-reliance is cultivated. If you value clear expectations, decisive action, and measurable results, this work is built for you.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families see tangible impact, and operational discipline is the foundation of success.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin promptly, remain undisturbed, and conclude effectively.
  • Providing first-tier technology support (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and managing escalations to IT.
  • Ensuring a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Delivering clear communication to students, families, and staff; resolving issues quickly and recording decisions.
  • Coordinating campus events—onboarding, milestones, inventory and space planning—so the environment remains consistently ready.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering instruction or designing curriculum; Guides handle student mentorship while you run the infrastructure.
  • Operating from a back room; your role is visible and directly impacts student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in low-value tasks that don't enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, organized, and conducive to learning so that students and staff can concentrate on development rather than operational distractions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable high-touch service setting.
  • Composed under pressure; self-starting problem-solver who can balance competing demands while maintaining precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace management.
  • Professional, transparent written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
