Role Description

Do you find joy in fixing what’s broken - and making what works even better? At Crossover, we believe that operational excellence is about hands-on impact.

Whether you specialize in process improvement, business transformation, supply chain optimization, or cross-functional alignment - you’ll take ownership of high-impact initiatives across fast-moving US companies.

No management layers to wade through. No bottlenecks to wait on. Just clear mandates and the freedom to move lightning fast.

You’ll be joining high-performance software and EdTech companies like Trilogy, 2 Hour Learning, and IgniteTech, where operations leaders don’t hide behind dashboards – they get their hands dirty.

They fix what's inefficient, build what’s missing, and drive authentic business results.

Our remote business jobs cover finance, HR, support, business transformation, and strategy - but they all have one thing in common: they reward clarity, not complexity.

If you thrive on systems thinking, deep problem-solving, and execution without red tape, we have an ops career for you.

Here’s What to Expect:

  • Elite pay for elite work: Top ops pros on our platform earn 3-16X more than local averages
  • Zero bureaucracy: Fix what's broken, standardize what works, move on to the next mission
  • Cross-functional exposure: Operate across departments, companies, and industries
  • A playbook-driven approach: Implement what works at scale, not from scratch
  • Global collaboration: Join the best minds in operations, analytics, and business systems

You could be an ex-consultant, a COO-in-the-making, or a systems engineer with a passion for process - this is your chance to drive operational excellence in business that actually gets noticed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Roll out proven ops playbooks to transform underperforming teams and systems
  • Simplify and scale workflows across finance, HR, customer support, and supply chain
  • Identify performance gaps, diagnose inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure goals align and outcomes accelerate
  • Track KPIs that matter and make continuous improvement the standard

This isn’t a role for PowerPoint warriors. It’s for builders, fixers, and problem solvers who treat execution like a competitive sport.

Key responsibilities

Keep every campus in the Northeast region safe, premium, and tour-ready every day.

Description

You walk a site and instantly see what's off — the loose ceiling tile no one logged, the HVAC return that's been whining for a week, the landscaping vendor who skipped half the punch list and still invoiced in full. You don't wait for a customer to complain. You close the loop before anyone notices it was open.

That instinct is the job. 2 Hour Learning operates premium K–12 campuses where families pay for an environment that is safe, consistent, and tour-ready every single day — not just on event days. You'll own that standard across the Northeast: Manhattan as your primary campus, with regular travel to schools in CT, MA, and PA. Your work is the difference between a campus that feels premium and one that quietly degrades between executive visits.

The first year is heavy on standards-setting and vendor cleanup — codifying what "ready" looks like, building the audit cadence, replacing vendors who don't perform, and getting Campus Coordinators and Site Specialists onto a repeatable operating rhythm. As the region adds schools and your playbook stabilizes, the role shifts toward steady-state regional leadership: you become the operator the network leans on when a new campus opens, an emergency hits, or a standard needs to be rewritten.

This is a field role. If you want to manage from a dashboard, this is not for you. If you want direct ownership of whether 25+ schools feel premium every day — and the authority to make that happen — keep reading.

Candidate requirements

  • Based in New York City or a commutable distance, willing to operate primarily out of the Manhattan campus with 20–40% regional travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • 5+ years owning multi-site facilities, regional operations, hospitality operations, retail operations, or school operations
  • Proven track record of holding vendor-managed services accountable for quality, cost, and SLA adherence across multiple locations
  • Direct experience resolving urgent facilities issues (safety, HVAC, security, cleanliness) with measurable customer-experience impact
  • Strong written operating cadence: issue logs, escalation notes, vendor follow-ups, weekly regional quality reports
  • Demonstrated use of modern operations tools (ticketing systems, IoT/predictive maintenance, AI-assisted procurement or planning)
