LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

A well-run campus is invisible. A poorly run one disrupts everything. This role ensures that Alpha campuses function with reliability, safety, and precision—day in and day out.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our classrooms operate at high velocity. Our expectations are rigorous. That demands campus operations that are disciplined, agile, and designed to scale. This role is accountable for everything beyond the classroom that enables students and Guides to excel.

You will serve as the operational foundation of the campus. You handle communication with parents and staff, manage safety and security protocols, maintain smooth facilities and logistics, and ensure technology functions reliably for everyone on site. You respond when systems fail, identify potential issues before they grow, and introduce organized structure to fast-moving environments.

This is not a limited coordination position. It is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who excels with responsibility, diversity of tasks, and execution. What you will be doing

  • Serving as a central point of contact for parents, students, and staff to deliver timely, clear, and professional communication
  • Overseeing campus safety operations including access management, health incidents, emergency drills, documentation, and family updates
  • Managing day-to-day campus logistics such as attendance processes, transportation coordination, facilities oversight, and office operations
  • Assisting with onboarding and training of new staff to guarantee operational preparedness from the start
  • Administering student devices and campus technology, functioning as the on-site Google Administrator and technology point person

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or supporting academic teaching
  • Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
  • Functioning in a purely clerical or narrowly defined role
  • Working in a static or entirely predictable setting
  • Escalating unresolved issues to others rather than owning results

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational roles
  • Proficiency with basic technology tasks including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with parents, staff, and vendors
  • Capacity to juggle competing priorities while preserving attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be available to work in person in Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Lake Forest, CA or Chicago, IL.
