Campus Operations Manager   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

A well-run campus is invisible. A poorly run one disrupts everyone. This role ensures Alpha campuses function with reliability, safety, and consistency—day in and day out.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our classrooms operate at speed. Our expectations are elevated. That demands campus operations that are disciplined, agile, and designed to scale. This role manages all non-classroom functions that enable students and Guides to excel.

As the operational backbone of the campus, you own parent and staff communication, supervise safety and security protocols, maintain smooth facilities and logistics, and guarantee technology functions reliably for everyone on site. You respond when systems fail, identify risks before they grow, and establish calm order in fast-moving environments.

This is not a limited coordination position. It is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone energized by responsibility, diversity of tasks, and execution. If you seek work where your actions directly impact student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this role delivers genuine ownership and accountability.

What you will be doing

  • Serving as a key contact point for parents, students, and staff to deliver timely, clear, and professional communication
  • Overseeing campus safety functions including access control, health response, emergency drills, incident documentation, and parent notifications
  • Managing daily campus logistics including attendance systems, transportation arrangements, facilities upkeep, and office operations
  • Assisting with onboarding and training new staff to ensure operational preparedness from their first day
  • Administering student devices and campus technology, acting as the on-site Google Administrator and technology liaison

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or providing academic support
  • Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
  • Functioning in a strictly administrative or narrowly defined role
  • Working within a slow-paced or entirely predictable setting
  • Delegating unresolved issues to others rather than owning solutions

Key responsibilities

Sustain safe, efficient, and dependable campus operations that continuously enhance the experience of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Chicago, IL; Fort Worth, TX (Southlake); Keller, TX (Fort Worth); Austin, TX (Spyglass); Houston, TX (Woodlands); Oklahoma City, OK; Park City, UT; Tulsa, OK; Tampa, FL;  Denver, CO; or Brentwood, TN — or willing to relocate
