Description

  • On-site Miami · W2 · $100K/yr

You will be the person families remember when choosing where to enroll their child. You shape how Alpha is perceived, communicated, and experienced from the moment of first contact through final enrollment. This role is designed for someone who understands that responsiveness, precision, and care are not competing priorities—they define the baseline.

Alpha is reimagining the modern school. Our campuses blend rigorous academics, technology-driven instruction, and a mission grounded in respect for students and their families. Admissions is where that mission becomes tangible. Families arrive curious, uncertain, and full of questions. Your responsibility is to transform doubt into clarity and conviction.

You will own the admissions journey once a family expresses interest. Responsibilities include responding swiftly and professionally to inquiries, organizing campus tours and shadow experiences, ensuring applicant data is accurate and current, and facilitating meaningful conversations that help parents evaluate whether Alpha aligns with their child's needs. This is not a support role—it is a frontline, detail-focused position where you are accountable for the family experience.

This is an on-campus, high-velocity role suited to someone who thrives managing competing demands while maintaining both precision and personal warmth. If you value excellence in execution, clarity in communication, and the ability to create frictionless experiences, this position offers real ownership and measurable impact.

We need someone who blends warmth with rigor, speed with discernment, and professionalism with authentic engagement. If this standard aligns with how you work, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's voice
  • Organizing and executing admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for prospective students
  • Keeping applicant records current and accurate across CRM platforms and admissions management systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture their input
  • Collaborating with campus leadership and admissions colleagues to ensure continuous progress for each prospective family

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final decisions regarding admissions or enrollment offers
  • Delivering classroom instruction or contributing to daily teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales techniques or predetermined conversation scripts
  • Handling paper-based application processes or tracking down physical paperwork

Key responsibilities

Create a high-trust, high-conversion admissions journey that moves families from initial inquiry to confident enrollment decision.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy

  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in school admissions, enrollment coordination, or independent school environments
  • Proven success planning family-facing events (open houses, information sessions, shadow days) with documented attendance results
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, technology-forward settings
