Description

  • On-site Miami · W2 · $100K/yr

You are the person families will remember when choosing where to enroll their child. You will guide every interaction from initial inquiry through final enrollment, ensuring Alpha's voice, values, and commitments come through clearly at each step. This position is designed for someone who treats speed, precision, and empathy as equally essential—not competing priorities.

Alpha is transforming the school experience. Our campuses bring together rigorous academics, technology-driven instruction, and a philosophy grounded in respect for students and their families. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families arrive curious, uncertain, and hopeful. Your role is to turn that uncertainty into trust.

This role puts you in charge of the admissions journey after a family expresses interest. You will field inquiries with professionalism and speed, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and engage in meaningful dialogue that helps parents evaluate whether Alpha aligns with their child's needs. This is a front-facing role. You will be visible, detail-oriented, and responsible for the quality of every family's experience with Alpha.

This is an on-campus, high-tempo position suited to someone who thrives managing competing demands without sacrificing accuracy or empathy. If you value strong execution, clear communication, and delivering experiences that feel effortless to others, this role provides meaningful ownership and influence.

We seek someone who blends warmth with rigor, responsiveness with sound judgment, and professionalism with authentic care. If that describes your approach, we encourage you to apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours using communication that is clear, warm, and consistent with Alpha's voice
  • Organizing and running admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for prospective students
  • Keeping applicant records current and accurate across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting conversations with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to questions, and capture their feedback
  • Collaborating closely with campus staff and admissions leadership to ensure each family progresses smoothly through the process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final decisions about admissions or enrollment
  • Delivering classroom instruction or participating in daily teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or scripted pitches
  • Working with paper-based processes or tracking down physical documentation

Key responsibilities

Create and sustain a high-trust, high-conversion admissions process that moves families confidently from initial contact through enrollment.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in school admissions, enrollment operations, or independent school settings
  • Proven ability to plan and execute parent-facing events (open houses, information sessions, shadow days) with documented attendance results
  • Experience working in fast-paced, technology-enabled organizations
