Curriculum Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for those who believe that education must operate with greater speed, precision, and measurable accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses the academic content of a full school day into concentrated, high-efficiency learning sessions. Success at this scale demands academic decision-making that is accurate, immediate, and fully owned from start to finish. This position exists to deliver that: transforming raw student performance data into actionable insights while providing direct, trust-based coaching that clears obstacles quickly.

You will operate at the convergence of data interpretation and student engagement. In one instance, you're examining performance metrics to identify at-risk learners and justify placement decisions with evidence-backed logic. In the next, you're working one-on-one with a student, pinpointing confusion as it happens and guiding them forward before minor issues escalate into meaningful setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation. You own the results.

This position suits individuals who want immediate visibility into the consequences of their decisions. If you value ownership, prefer working directly with learners, and take satisfaction in enabling students to progress at twice the traditional pace through sharper judgment, this environment will fit you well.

Apply if you expect your contributions to show results within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Review and interpret student performance data to generate clear, actionable academic reports that drive timely intervention
  • Take full accountability for academic outcomes within your assigned student cohort, including placement decisions, testing protocols, and follow-through
  • Deliver focused academic intervention sessions that diagnose root issues and eliminate learning obstacles in the moment
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish between conceptual gaps and execution errors, then assign precise corrective steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent engagement teams to flag emerging risks and refine systems or tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that sit unused
  • Operating exclusively in a backend capacity with zero direct student contact
  • Delegating academic responsibility to classroom teachers, external tutors, or families
  • Facilitating broad tutoring sessions without specific diagnostic intent
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing visible student challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for the student groups under your oversight.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, teaching, or training capacity with documented results or formal feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of direct, sustained experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this threshold)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student services roles that blend analytical and relational responsibilities
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Sheets, including use of lookups, filters, pivot tables, and visualizations
  • High degree of emotional intelligence with the capacity to establish rapport rapidly with both students and parents
  • Confirmed use of AI tools to analyze datasets or automate processes with quantifiable improvements in efficiency
