Curriculum Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is for professionals who believe education must operate with greater speed, intelligence, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses what conventional schools distribute across a full day into concentrated, results-driven learning sequences. Success depends on academic decisions that are accurate, prompt, and fully owned from start to finish. This position exists to deliver precisely that: transform raw student performance data into decisive action, paired with direct, high-trust coaching that eliminates obstacles immediately.

You will operate where data analysis meets personal engagement. At one point, you're examining performance metrics to identify risk signals early and support placement decisions with sound logic. At another, you're working directly with a student, pinpointing misunderstandings in the moment and guiding them forward before minor challenges escalate into significant setbacks. This is not a passive observation role. You own the results.

This position is built for individuals who want to witness the effects of their decisions without delay. If you excel with responsibility, value direct student engagement, and find satisfaction in enabling children to learn at twice the pace through sharper decision-making, this environment will suit you.

Apply if you want your contributions to register by week's end, not semester's close.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic summaries that drive timely interventions
  • Take full accountability for academic progress within your assigned student cohort, including placement decisions, assessment strategies, and corrective follow-through
  • Facilitate focused academic recovery sessions that pinpoint underlying causes and eliminate learning obstacles immediately
  • Lead post-assessment coaching to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from simple errors and prescribe focused corrective actions
  • Work alongside academic leadership and parent engagement teams to flag emerging risks and refine systems or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused
  • Operating exclusively in the background without direct student contact
  • Transferring academic accountability to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Conducting broad tutoring without defined diagnostic objectives
  • Delaying action on student performance concerns for weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic intelligence and direct student interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning results for your designated student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training role with a documented outcome or feedback
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (occasional tutoring does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analysis and interpersonal work
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly with students and parents
  • Proven use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency gains
