Entrepreneurship Program Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Traditional high schools focus on grades and standardized test results. Founders School focuses on businesses started, real problems addressed, and students accomplishing things most adults would view as out of reach.

We need someone capable of inspiring, pushing, and guiding ambitious teenage entrepreneurs as they launch legitimate companies, build AI proficiency, and work toward goals typically reserved for adults.

If high expectations, high ownership, and supporting exceptional young people to reach remarkable outcomes energizes you, this role deserves your attention.

What you will be doing

  • Maintain daily execution and forward momentum across your assigned student group using standups, coaching conversations, and accountability frameworks.
  • Lead weekly one-on-one coaching sessions and daily touchpoints that support students in clearing roadblocks and sustaining progress.
  • Track student activity in FounderOS, spot stagnation early, and bring in support resources as necessary.
  • Facilitate introductions to mentors, founders, operators, and growth opportunities for students.
  • Design and deliver workshops, events, and community programming that deepen culture and elevate performance expectations.
  • Demonstrate hands-on AI application and guide students in embedding AI into their ventures, systems, and strategic thinking.
  • Accompany students on 3-4 annual school trips.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Offering in-depth strategic business advisory as students develop their ventures. That responsibility belongs to FounderOS, Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, and external mentors.
  • Tolerating output that doesn't match a student's proven capability.
  • Delivering academic instruction. The academic platform and faculty handle that component.
  • Facilitating workshops beyond your domain of competence.
  • Providing generic resources or introductions that fail to meet Founders School quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Build the culture, accountability structures, and support infrastructure that allow driven student founders to execute reliably, use AI with skill, and accomplish results that traditional schooling doesn't unlock.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years in leadership roles or high-impact individual contributor positions at startups, growth-stage companies, or comparably rigorous environments.
  • Comfort participating in entrepreneurial discussions and judgment about when specialized expertise is required.
  • A signature capability beyond coaching: workshop design, event production, content development, community architecture, relationship cultivation, or another high-value skill.
  • The presence to capture the focus of ambitious teenagers and build an environment they're drawn to.
  • The capacity to give challenging feedback that strengthens motivation and output.
  • Regular use of AI tools with concrete examples of how AI enhances your productivity.
  • Availability to work on-site in New York City (relocation assistance available).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience founding or co-founding a company.
  • Background in coaching, mentoring, or running programs for teenagers or young adults.
  • A personal network of founders, operators, investors, or mentors.
  • Early-stage startup experience where you managed diverse responsibilities and created systems from the ground up.

About Crossover

What you will learn

Within your first year, you will understand each of your students thoroughly: their capabilities, development needs, drivers, and ambitions. The school will have established culture, cadence, and performance standards. Much of that foundation will reflect your influence.

As Founders School grows from New York into other cities, new opportunities emerge. This could include managing future program managers, supporting new campus launches, or ultimately operating a campus as Head of School. These roles are earned through demonstrated impact, not time served. You will also develop connections with founders, investors, operators, and entrepreneurial families integrated into the Founders School ecosystem. These relationships frequently extend well beyond the program itself.

Work examples

  • A student begins coasting following an initial success. You catch the shift quickly, recalibrate expectations, and guide them back to steady execution.
  • A student hesitates before their first sales conversation. You support their preparation, practice with them, and help them enter confidently.
  • A student requires a particular resource or mentor connection. You understand who to engage, the rationale, and how to structure a valuable introduction.
  • A cohort loses drive during a challenging development phase. You facilitate a targeted session that rebuilds momentum and sharpens the standard.
